Drops in One Type of Pollution Increases another

Interesting issue has arisen that shows how difficult it is to make adjustments to environmental pollution and how scientific models have difficult in grasping the entire picture.

According to a range of studies of cities including Los Angeles, Philadelphia, Chicago and Denver, when levels of a common group of pollutants known as nitrogen oxides or NOx dip on the weekends with decreased traffic, ozone — the main ingredient of smog — increases.
